Good location close to train station. Spacious room with room under the bed for luggage. Adjustable ceiling light. Lots of free storage lockers on ground floor. Nice view overlooking the harbor. Good breakfast.

Need to vacuum better; lots of stray hairs on the floor. Big bathtub, but it takes forever to fill. Too many rooms (400+) and too few elevators (3). This seems to be a constant problem with Toyoko Inns.

The room facilities, such as bed head lamp and electrical plugs were designed with innovative way and friendly tools

Lack of provided clothing hanging facilities

Excellent staff all around and the best free breakfast ever. Great location and a short walk to the major train station.

Everything except the racist display at the reception desk, I had seen in numerous of the reviews by other Travelers, foreign Travelers that if you are of a white skin tone you are rudely treated at the reception desk!! I did not want to believe the different reviews that suggested that, but I have never experienced such disgusting Acts anywhere in my travels throughout the world yet particularly in Japan where I have had the warmest regards for all of the Japanese folks that I've had interconnections with, could not be a better set of human beings!! That being said, the rudeness and obvious hatred displayed upon entering the building at the reception desk was bleak, arduous and hateful from the reception desk staff!! The breakfast was phenomenal and delicious and well prepared!! Everything else about the hotel was just fine!

The racist hatred that I received at the reception desk by the reception staff was Despicable because of a white skin tone I have has a Caucasian!!!!!!!! I noticed in many other reviews by other foreign Travelers of a white skin tone that they said they felt the hatred racism offered at the reception desk also!!

Location and breakfast

Room request was not accommodated and we walked into two rooms with only a mattress sheet - no pillows (allergen free has been requested months ago. There was no tip sheet nor blankets, so we had to go to reception, where the staff was less than friendly. Opposite of the service we received in Toyoko Inn Osaka Itami, which we’re aware of our needs as soon as we arrived and we were very well cared for at that property.

The bathroom is more spacious than similarly priced hotel.The view from the breakfast cafetaria is really nice.

The hot and cold bathroom water tap needs to be adjusted separately whenever taking bath.There is no light switch near the door, you will need to walk in the dark to the light switch if you get back late at night.The air from the air conditioner feels really dry, I woke up in the middle of the night because of thirst.The location is close enough to walk, but still a bit far. Apparently there is a travelator on the elevated pedestrian in front of the station, can use it to reduce the walking.

Nice location at the top of the hotel with a nice view of the water and harbor, great salads and breads, coffee is not bad but would be nicer in ceramic mugs or cups

no fruit for breakfast and single use chopsticks and forks and coffee cups, but when I asked they had reusable chopsticks for less waste and nicer to use

Very close from Kokura shinkansen train station. The room size was decent and clean. Very friendly staff. If you are lucky you can get a room with sea side view. The are a couple of washing machines at ground floor if you need to wash and even a vending machine with beer if you are lazy to go to 7/11.

If you planned to visit Fukuoka, which is bigger, you have to take always the train. It takes only 15 min by shinkansen but take in mind that you loose maybe 1 h both ways.

Spacious room - for Japan - nice hotel with very helpful staffs.

Parking lot is full when we arrived, we have to pay extra money to park somewhere else.

It was very clean and convenient. I was travelling with Trip a Deal and booked this extra room for a Japanese friend.

The room was very nice for a budget hotel. We appreciated the number of amenities that were provided in the lobby. There are convenient locks for storing your luggage. The breakfast area was on the 19th floor and offered sweeping view of Kokura Bay.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station. There weren't many restaurants nearby. The elevators get really congested during breakfast and checkout.

It's clean. Breakfast is good and let to take away as well.

It isn't easy when there is a last check-in time. we had to run to the hotel before 10 PM.

Particularly love the free amenities of DCH. Breakfast last entry is at 9am which is a little too early. I missed it.The room is bigger than I expected. Overall experience is good.

Overall from the front office to the restaurant were all good ! Storage of luggage before check in and after check out helped me a lot. Front office ladies were really helpful :) Perfect view from the room :")

Found out some hairs in the toilet bowl and the bath tub upon check in.

The view is nice overlooking the sea and close to train station. The room is spacious for 3 people.

But the wifi setting is making us unable to access our disney online account which I do not know why

Staffs are very nice! Super clean and lots of parking lot. Rooms and hotel are super new!
